As the European market leader in the aftermarket for steel wheels, ALCAR Wheels GMBH produces either in-house or in close cooperation with the world's leading manufacturers. In its own ALCAR Ruote SA production facility, more than 2 million wheels can be produced per year, thus serving a substantial part of the total demand.

The factory is located near Lugano, in the Swiss canton of Ticino. It was taken over by the ALCAR HOLDING GMBH in 1995 and today is the largest main production site for steel wheels within the ALCAR Group. Historically, this manufacturing facility has always focused on servicing the aftermarket. This strategic orientation has continued even after the integration into the ALCAR Group over the last few years.

For example, ALCAR Ruote SA today more than ever concentrates on meeting the sometimes short-term fluctuating needs of the aftermarket. Flexible working and production methods make it possible to react immediately to sudden changes in the markets.
